Happy Sunday to you all! Today we started our day out right with a bowl of leftover baked apples topped with spiced oatmeal and milk. It really feels like fall when you eat a bowl of something as hearty and classic as this.
The rain has let up at least for the morning, but who knows what the day will hold. We have a bunch of indoor projects planned for today. Exciting changes are happening on Whittier Street! Andy is in his shop sanding our new cabinet doors as I write this. When he is finished, we will commence on painting my brand new(to me) craft room! I haven't revealed that I am getting new craft room yet, maybe because I wasn't sure it would happen with our ever growing list of home to-do's. It is happening!
We have a finished room attached to our garage/wood shop, and it is the future home to all my crafting. It is not huge, but compared to the 8x5 ft space I have been trying to work in, it's like a coliseum. I can't wait!
The new crafty area couldn't come at a better time because...drum roll please...I have just been accepted to my first jurried craft fair! I found out last night and it is finally sinking in. I will be sewing like mad until December 16th, where you will find me peddling my wares at Crafty Wonderland's Super Colossal Holiday Event in Portland. I am elated and nervous at the same time. I have tons of work to do, including figuring out how to display and fit my things into a 4x4(yes 4x4) space. It should be fun!
I will keep everyone posted on the goodies I am making and the search for tiny display stands.
